I began my career in the arts and graphic design in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1997 and took off for the Big Apple to hone my skills in 2006. New York kicked me around, thickened my skin and strengthened my spine. It also gave me an invaluable set of skills, and some very impressive names to add to my resume.
In 2014, a career opportunity with a tech industry giant beckoned me back to the Bay Area, and with nearly a decade of New York winters under my belt, I was ready to head west once again. I have, in every sense, come full circle and I am thrilled to be building the next chapter of my career back where my journey began.
What do I love about my work? Creative exploration and execution, giving birth to visual languages, working collaboratively with top notch talent... to name a few things. I hold strongly to the belief that if you are the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room and I thrive in environments that present people and situations that have something to teach me.
I also love making art, making magic, old growth redwoods, a good yoga class, mystery traditions, herbalism, gin and tonics on a hot day, and just about any kind of Asian food you put in front of me.
